Terms & Conditions
Complete Terms & Conditions governing use of Family AI, including our real-world relationship safety policy.
Section 1
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern use of Family AI, operated by Super Technology Studios and Casper Global.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Section 2
Eligibility & Account Setup
Family AI accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. Child profiles may only be added by the responsible parent/guardian for children within their own family or immediate care.
Section 3
Real-World Connections Only
Family AI is designed for real families and genuine real-world relationships. You must not add, connect with, or create a profile for any minor you do not know and have a genuine real-world relationship with (e.g. your own child, a relative, or a child in your direct care). Adding minors you are not connected to in real life is strictly prohibited.
Section 4
Enforcement
Violations of Section 3 will be treated with zero tolerance. Accounts found to be adding minors without a genuine real-world relationship will receive a warning on the first two occurrences. A third occurrence will result in immediate and permanent account termination, with no right of appeal or refund, and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.
Section 5
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to harass, exploit, endanger, or otherwise harm any child; upload or transmit unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate content; or attempt to circumvent parental controls or safety features.
Section 6
Parental Responsibility
The account-holding parent/guardian is responsible for all activity under their account and all child profiles they manage, including ensuring appropriate use by any child granted access.
Section 7
Subscription & Payment
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription, billed as set out at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Section 8
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, at any time and without notice, for violations of these Terms — including but not limited to the real-world relationship requirement in Section 3.
Section 9
Intellectual Property
All software, models, and technology powering Family AI remain the property of Super Technology Studios / Casper Global. You retain ownership of content you or your family submit to the Service.
Section 10
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Super Technology Studios and Casper Global are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
Section 11
Child Safety & Mandatory Reporting
See Section 10 of our Privacy Policy for information on our mandatory reporting obligations relating to child abuse, neglect, and self-harm.
Section 12
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy
How we collect, protect, and never sell your family's data across Family AI.
Section 1
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Family AI (operated by Super Technology Studios and Casper Global) collects, uses, and protects the personal information of families using our services, including parents, guardians, and children under their supervision.
Section 2
Information We Collect
We collect information provided by parents/guardians during account setup (name, email, payment details), information about child profiles as configured by the parent/guardian, and usage data generated through interaction with Family AI's features.
Section 3
Parental Consent & Control
Family AI accounts and child profiles must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without verified parental consent. Parents/guardians retain full control over child profile data, including the ability to view, edit, or delete it at any time.
Section 4
No Data Selling
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information — including any data relating to children — to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, under any circumstances.
Section 5
How We Use Your Information
Collected information is used solely to provide and improve Family AI's features, ensure child safety and appropriate content controls, communicate with the account-holding parent/guardian, and comply with legal obligations.
Section 6
Secure Storage
As we operate our own hardware and infrastructure rather than relying on third-party AI APIs, family and child data is stored and processed within our own systems, protected with encryption and strict access controls.
Section 7
Controlled Access
Access to family and child data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, with all access logged and monitored.
Section 8
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service. Parents/guardians may request deletion of their account and all associated child profile data at any time.
Section 9
Your Rights
Parents/guardians may access, correct, export, or delete their family's data, and may withdraw consent for data collection at any time by contacting us via our Contact page.
Section 10
Mandatory Reporting & Child Safety
Where we become aware of information indicating a child is at risk of abuse, neglect, or self-harm, we may be legally required — and may act voluntarily even where not required — to report that information to relevant child protective services, law enforcement, or other authorities in accordance with applicable mandatory reporting laws. This may occur without prior notice to the account holder where required by law or necessary to protect a child's safety.
Section 11
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Section 2

If you are subscribed to Family AI Pro, you may cancel at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period — your Pro access continues until the next scheduled payment date, at which point it will not renew and your account will revert to the free tier.
Section 3

Cancelling a Pro subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining portion of the current billing period already paid for.
Section 4
How to Cancel
Pro subscriptions can be cancelled via your account dashboard or by contacting our support team.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
The terms governing how we process personal data on behalf of families using Family AI.
Section 1
Purpose & Scope
This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") governs the processing of personal data by Super Technology Studios / Casper Global ("Processor") on behalf of the account-holding parent/guardian ("Controller") using Family AI, including data relating to child profiles managed under that account.
Section 2
Roles of the Parties
The parent/guardian acts as the Data Controller for their own and their child's/children's personal data managed through Family AI. Super Technology Studios / Casper Global acts as the Data Processor, processing that data solely on the Controller's documented instructions (i.e. as configured through account and profile settings).
Section 3
Processing Instructions
We will only process personal data as necessary to provide the Service, in accordance with the Controller's instructions, and as required by applicable law — including mandatory reporting obligations where a child safety concern arises (see our Privacy Policy). If an instruction appears to breach data protection law, we will notify the Controller before proceeding.
Section 4
Confidentiality
Personnel authorized to process personal data, including child profile data, are bound by confidentiality obligations, whether contractual or statutory.
Section 5
Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, as outlined in our Security policy, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring — with particular care given to the sensitivity of children's data.
Section 6
Sub-processors
We may engage sub-processors (e.g. payment processors, infrastructure providers) to support the Service. We remain responsible for their compliance with data protection obligations equivalent to those in this DPA.
Section 7
Data Subject Requests
Where we receive a request relating to data we process on the Controller's behalf — including a request relating to a child's data — we will notify the Controller promptly and provide reasonable assistance in responding, without responding directly unless instructed.
Section 8
Data Breach Notification
We will notify the Controller without undue delay upon becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting data processed under this DPA, providing sufficient information to allow the Controller to meet their own notification obligations.
Section 9
Data Return & Deletion
Upon termination of the Service, we will delete or return all personal data — including child profile data — processed on behalf of the Controller, unless retention is required by law (e.g. mandatory reporting records).
Section 10
International Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the Controller's jurisdiction (including to our infrastructure in Australia), appropriate safeguards will be applied as outlined in our GDPR policy.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Our compliance with GDPR for families covered by EU/UK data protection law.
Section 1
Introduction
This section outlines how Family AI, operated by Super Technology Studios and Casper Global, complies with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable to users in the EU/UK or otherwise covered by GDPR.
Section 2
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data — including data relating to child profiles — on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service to the account-holding parent/guardian), legitimate interests (child safety, service improvement, security), consent (given by the parent/guardian on behalf of the child, where required), and compliance with legal obligations (including mandatory reporting — see our Privacy Policy).
Section 3
Parental Consent as the Basis for Children's Data
Because Family AI accounts and child profiles are created and controlled exclusively by a parent or legal guardian, consent for the processing of a child's personal data is provided by that parent/guardian at the point of account and profile creation. We do not collect personal data directly from children independent of parental involvement.
Section 4
Data Controller & Processor Roles
Super Technology Studios / Casper Global acts as the Data Controller for account and billing information belonging to the parent/guardian, and processes child profile data on the instructions of that parent/guardian.
Section 5
Your Rights Under GDPR
If GDPR applies to you, the account-holding parent/guardian has the right to: access personal data (including child profile data); rectify inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. Requests can be made via our Contact page and will be responded to within statutory timeframes (generally 30 days).
Section 6
International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/UK (including to our infrastructure in Australia), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms to ensure adequate protection.
Section 7
Data Protection Officer / Contact
For any GDPR-related inquiries or to exercise your rights, contact us via the details provided on our Contact page.
Section 8
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where required, and notify affected parents/guardians without undue delay where the breach poses a high risk — with particular urgency where child data is involved.

Security
How we secure your family's data and infrastructure across Family AI.
Section 1
Our Approach to Security
Family AI is built on infrastructure fully owned and operated by Super Technology Studios and Casper Global, rather than third-party AI APIs. This gives us direct control over how your family's data is stored, processed, and protected at every layer.
Section 2
Infrastructure & Hosting
The Service runs on privately owned servers and data center infrastructure. Access to physical and virtual infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Section 3
Data Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (TLS/SSL). Sensitive data, including child profile information, is protected using appropriate encryption and access controls at rest.
Section 4
Access Controls
Access to family and child data is role-based and limited strictly to personnel who require it to perform their duties. All administrative access is logged and monitored.
Section 5
Parental Controls & Safeguards
Family AI includes safety features designed to give parents/guardians oversight and control over child profiles, including visibility into activity and the ability to restrict or revoke access at any time.
Section 6
Payment Security
Payment processing is handled through compliant, secure payment infrastructure. We do not store full payment card details on our own systems.
Section 7
Monitoring & Incident Response
We monitor our systems for unusual activity and maintain processes to detect, respond to, and remediate security incidents. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected account holders and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.
Section 8
Vulnerability Management
We regularly review and update our systems to address security vulnerabilities and apply patches across our infrastructure and software.
Section 9
Your Responsibilities
Parents/guardians are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access to their account or a child's profile.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Our uptime commitment, support response times, and service credit terms.
Section 1
Overview
This Service Level Agreement ("SLA") outlines the uptime commitment, support response times, and remedies available to families using Family AI.
Section 2
Uptime Commitment
We target 95% uptime for the Service, measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
Section 3
Support Response Times
Support requests are prioritized by severity:
> Critical (child safety feature unavailable or account access issue): response within 4 hours
> High (major functionality impaired): response within 1 business day
> Standard (general inquiries, minor issues): response within 2 business days
Section 4
Service Credits
If uptime falls below 99.5% in a given month, eligible account holders on applicable plans may request a service credit toward their next billing cycle, calculated in proportion to the downtime experienced. Credits do not apply to downtime caused by factors outside our control, including scheduled maintenance, customer-side issues, or force majeure events.
Section 5
Exclusions
This SLA does not cover downtime resulting from third-party integrations outside our infrastructure, customer misuse or misconfiguration, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Section 6
Monitoring & Reporting
Uptime is monitored continuously across our infrastructure. Account holders on eligible plans may request uptime reports for their billing period.
